Dubai: The Ministry of Health has warned residents against the use of nine particular food supplements as they have been known to sharply reduce blood pressure and can be life-threatening to those with cardiovascular disease, high fat percentage, or diabetes.

The warning comes after health organisations in the United States and Canada published a similar warning on the supplements.

Dr Ameen Hussain Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Medical Practice and Licence Sector in UAE Ministry of Health, said the UAE has a hotline with international health organisations, which keeps authorities in the country up to date with such matters.

Al Amiri said the two aforementioned countries cautioned the public on the use of unregistered supplements like Vardenafil and Sildenafil, which are typically marketed under ‘Male Silkworm Moth Nourishing Oral Liquid’ and ‘Power Tablets 1’.

“Other unregistered tablets that have been known to sharply reduce blood pressure and pose a risk to users’ health are Dr. Ming’s Chinese Capsule, Santi Scalper Maxman Cialis Tablets, and Vim-25, which is a sexual stimulator for men,” he said.

Al Amiri also cautioned the public against four herbal supplements that are being marketed as weight-loss solutions.

“Phenolphthalein is one of them and it is known to contain a carcinogenic ingredient that is not used in the production of medicines or supplements,” he said. “Deisobutylbenzylsibutramine and sibutramine are particularly dangerous for those with irregular heartbeats and those who suffered strokes. The chemicals, marketed under Diablos Eca Fire Caps, can cause a sharp rise in blood pressure and can cause irregularities in heartbeat.”

Al Amiri also advised against the use of dexamethasone, which after prolonged use or in high doses, can reduce a person’s ability to fight inflammations, raise the sugar count in blood, cause muscle injuries and psychological problems.

“Chlorpheniramine, marketed under Lian Wan She Ginseng, is an antihistamine which can cause drowsiness, blurred vision and confusion. Phenylbutazone is among the non-steroidal medicines that is advertised as a pain reliever and anti-inflammation. It has been banned for human consumption in the US because of its potentially fatal effects. It is being sold as Asihuri Pluse Forte.”

Al Amiri said the ministry is taking appropriate measures to ensure these dangerous supplements don’t pervade the country. “We are doing all we can to ensure the safety and health of our public,” he said.

are you the type that shares a PC with families or friends and ever wonder if its possible to lock files or folders from some of them despite the fact that its a shared PC that you guys are using? Well, worry no more as in this tutorial will guide you through the steps to create a locked folder in Windows 7 and etc, and the best thing is you that, don’t need any additional software in order to get this done. Now anyone who really is serious about accessing your files will probably be able to crack this, but it should deter more than the average passer by.

First, create a new folder and give any name of your choice then, open the newly created folder, create a new text document. Here's how: (Right click on blank area -> New -> Text Document), After that, just copy the following code that you're going to be downloading from HERE and paste in into your newly created notepad.

You need to configure the notepad code by first making sure you save as and follow the instruction in the figure image "1" and be sure to enter your password in the “Enter Your Password Here” bit. Then, next you want to save this document with a dot bat extension .bat form and name it locker or give it any name that would remind so it’s called locker.bat and etc and to do this make sure you change the Save as type: All Files (*.*).

Next, you should to go back to the folder created earlier at the very beginning and double click on the locker.bat file which should create a new folder named Private, this is where you can put anything you want to make private thereon.

So, after adding each file(s) or folder(s), double click on locker.bat again and it will ask you if you want to lock the folder or not in a DOS mode prompt. Press Y = yes and the folder will disappear! You’ve now successfully locked it and hidden it. Please, make a backup file of this file in a very safe location away from where someone can easily delete it it seen because, it might look like a virus program file.

To view those files or folders already locked away and hidden, all you need to do is double click on the locker.bat in that same location where everything was created and after entering the password it shows up again for you to be able to modify and etc.

That's all folks.

Hope you were able to perfect it properly because, any single mistake could ruin everything and you might have to start from the beginning again in order to set this right.

A 41 years old man who calls himself a god after been seen walking about nakedly as he tries to have sex with a tree, he was tased twice, which he removed and he fought with the officer who was trying to have him arrested, and after another officer arrived at the scene who made the arrest possible afterwards.

According to eyewitnesses, he was seen having a sexual encounter with a tree, MirrorUK reported.

And was seen running around naked claiming as some of the onlookers called him Thor or a superhero.

When police tried to arrest him he pulled one of the officers badge and attempted to stab him with it but failed.

According to one of the policeman, he was high on a drug called "Flakka" which caused him to behave that way.

Note that, data roaming fees usually applies even if you are traveling domestically within some regions in the same country, especially if coverage isn't available for that carrier in that region since people always think that they're in a clear as per roaming concerning in such situations.

For instance, you can be charged a roaming fees; for example, England service provider can charge roaming fees if you go to Ireland if there's no cell towers over there.

Another good example is: a cruise ship which uses their own satellite antennas, so you may be charged by your cell provider as much as £2 to 3 per minute for any data usage or voice calls while onboard their cruise ship.

So, continue to Step: If you are unsure what your roaming status would be.

i. Contact your cell phone provider or researching their roaming policies online is essential because fees and policies varies.

You should probably confirm also before you travel that, your phone will work at your end destination and that your plan has the appropriate features for international roaming, if applicable.

For example, I know that, T-Mobile uses a GSM technology prevalent in most countries, my cell phone would work overseas.

However, I didn't know that I needed to contact T-Mobile to have the international roaming add-on (which is free on their service) activated.

ii. Now that you have the roaming details from your service provider, consider your voice and data usage needs for this trip.

Do you need to be able to make and receive calls? Do you need real- time GPS, Internet access, or other data services on your device? Will you have access to wi-fi hotspots or Internet cafes and therefore, you can use wi-fi on your device instead of using the cellular data service?

How you proceed depends on how you will be using your device on your trip.

iii. If you want to be able to make and receive phone calls, but don't need data services on your trip, turn "data roaming" and "data synchronization" off on your device(s).

These options will most likely be found in your device general settings or your devices connectivity settings from main menu or settings.

My MTK Technology M3 phone, an Android smartphone, the data roaming feature is found under Settings > Wireless &  Network settings > Mobile Networks > Data Roaming.

While the data sync setting is under the Settings > Google Sync > Background Data Auto-Sync (this allows the phone to automatically sync all enabled settings like: the calendar, contacts, and activated email(s); it's on by default). Your menus will likely be similar to mine.

iv. Keep in mind that even if you turn off data roaming and data sync, third-party apps can still turn these back on. Therefore, you need to be sure you don't have any apps installed that will override your data roaming settings. If all you want to do is make/receive phone calls and you're not absolutely sure you don't have any apps that would turn data roaming back on, consider leaving your phone at home (turned off) and renting a cell phone just for your trip or renting a different SIM card for your cell phone .

Alternately, if you won't be making outgoing calls but just want to be reachable, follow the step below to have access to voicemail over wi-fi.

v. Enabling the phone flight or Airplane Mode if you just want wi-fi access saves you battery. Airplane Mode turns off the cellular and data radio, but on most devices you can leave wi-fi on. So, if you'll have wireless Internet access (e.g., in your hotel or perhaps a free Wi-Fi hotspot like a coffeeshop), you can still go online with your device and avoid the data roaming charges.

Virtual phone features found in the section VoIP software/services and web apps like Google Voice can come handy during this period since it allows you to have a phone number that can be forwarded to voicemail and sent to you in form of a sound file via email, which you can check whenever you're connected to any available wi-fi access.

vi. If you do need cellular data access, e.g.: Internet access outside of wi-fi hotspots or GPS, turn data roaming on only when you use it, and after you should put your device in flight Mode, as above, and then when you need to download data put your phone back to its default data-mode that you are now connected to.

vii. Monitor your mobile data usage with an app or special using a USSID dial-in number assigned by your carrier.

Several smartphone apps for Android, iPhone, and BlackBerry can track your data usage, some can also track your voice and texts usages.

I actually figured out that, most people who owned one particular pc and later got bought another and want to transfer all their existing and cool bookmarks but don't really know how to go about it and the more reason I wrote this article so as to help you guys move your bookmarks after having been backup. 

 The next are a few tips and hints on how to go about that from different browsers.

How to backup and restore my Internet favorites / Bookmarks.

Solutions:

Although there are several third-party software programs that will enable you to backup, restore, and manage your Internet browser bookmarks or favorites, all modern browsers today include bookmark managers and are capable of backing up and restoring your bookmarks or favorites. Below is a listing of each of the major browsers and how to backup and recover your Internet bookmarks or favorites.

If you've considered moving from one browser to another you can often backup your bookmarks in one browser and then follow the below restore tips to import those bookmarks into your new browser.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

Note: By default, Microsoft Internet Explorer will save your bookmarks as bookmark.htm.

I'll start from the most widely used browser of all and that's the award winning:

Mozilla Firefox

Recent versions of Firefox backup

1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click Bookmarks and then Organize Bookmarks.
3. Click Export HTML or Click Import and Backup and then Backup. We suggest Exporting to HTML since all browsers support the ability to easily read these files.
4. Type the filename you wish to save the file as and the destination and then click the Save button.

Recovering favorites in recent versions of Firefox

1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click Bookmarks and then Organize Bookmarks.
3. Click Import and Backup.
4. If the file is a JSON file click Restore and choose file. If the file is a .HTM/.HTML file or other browser file click Import HTML and follow the import wizard.

Other versions of Firefox backup

1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click Bookmarks and then Manage Bookmarks.
3. In the Bookmarks Manager window click File and choose Export.
4. By default your bookmarks file will be called bookmarks.html. Choose the location you wish to save the bookmarks file to and click the Save button.

Internet Explorer 5.0 and above users backing up favorites.

1. Within Internet Explorer, click the File menu and Import and Export.
2. Within the Import and Export window click Next.

5. Select the destination you wish to save the favorites and click Next.
6. Click Finish.

Internet Explorer 5.0 and above recovering backup files from an Internet Explorer or Netscape backup.

1. Within Internet Explorer, click the File menu and Import and Export.
2. Within the Import and Export window click Next.
3. Click Import Favorites and click Next.
4. Select the location that contains your favorites and click Next.
5. Select where you wish to save your favorites and click Next.
6. Click Finish.

Netscape

Note: By default, Netscape will save your bookmarks as bookmarks.html.
Netscape Communicator / Netscape 7.0 and above users backing up bookmarks

1. Within Netscape, click Bookmarks and "Manage Bookmarks..." or CTRL+B.
2. Within the Bookmark manager click Tools and Export
3. Select where you wish to export the file and click ok.

Netscape Communicator / Netscape 7.0 and above users recovering backup files from Netscape backup or Internet Explorer.

1. Within Netscape, click Bookmarks and "Manage Bookmarks..." or CTRL+B.
2. Within the Bookmark manager click Tools and Import
3. Select the file you wish to Import and click open.

Opera

Note: By default, Opera will save your bookmarks as Opera6.adr. If your version of Opera is not 6, this filename may change.

1. Within Opera, click the File menu and Export.
2. Select the destination to where you wish to save the backup of your favorites to and click Save.

Sharing your PC internet to your other devices comes easy because, Microsoft already equipped their windows operating system with the right apparatus to get the job done, and reason why people shares their internet connections are not far fetch because, some wants to cut cost of monthly subscription and or want to share it with their friends or siblings around them and whatever case your is, I like it when people wants something and they just strife for it and go after it because of the saying, if you want something done, you have to do it yourself.

Procedures:
Go to start menu > then the Control Panel, look around for the "Network and sharing centre, then click to open the Manage wireless networks, Its on the second list on the image below:

After that, it will take you to the next windows where you need to 
To click on "Add" to enter where the main configuration is:

The main configuration has two interface for you choose from and they are Ad-hoc or Manual, so, click "Next" once until you reach the next where you are required to select either the Ad-hoc part because, the manual part is if you are trying to connect to a wireless and not you sharing, once that is selected, give it a name and assign a password. As seen in the image below, the make sure you select a more secure pass and also the password too. Don't make the mistake of selecting open in the password field you as this would allow anybody who see the signal a chance of connecting and using it freely.

Next, remember to mark or tick the save network right below your lower left hand corner of your pc and then click on the next, and you are done. Just launch your device wireless scan, scan for any available using hostpot or the wifi name you created, enter the password you created, and the sign in to the hotspot. 

Note you can connected as many as possibe other devices including laptops but, endeavour to minimise these devices from being too much as it would eventually slow down the server internet speed.
